When Doug Good Feather developed this pattern, he was inspired by the significance of mountain views. More than a stunning vista, it’s where the community gathered and shared the fruits of one’s labor after a hunt. This sentiment of sharing is inherent in our Adirondack blankets. Custom-woven on looms using long-staple cotton yarns, they’re crafted for cozy cuddles with loved ones around the campfire and on the couch. Artist, veteran, author, and teacher, Doug Good Feather is from the Standing Rock Lakota and Dakota Nation and is the founder of the Lakota Way Healing Center. Their ongoing partnership has enabled the Center to purchase 100+ acres of land and expand its ability to offer Indigenous spiritual practices to anyone in need of healing.
